This week we made a whale tail digataly.

We are making a class whale tail that represents panmure bridge school and Ls1.

First I had to open up a google draw and then I had to get rid of the stuff that was on the google drawing with a white box with a white boarder.

Next I had to not make it literay, if you dont know what that means it means you literay draw what you wanted to, for example if you wanted to draw rubbish you will literay draw a harpoon on the whale tail.

Lastly we had to draw a whale tail on paper an dthen it was very hard to do.

I enjoyed this task beacuse I am good at drawing and I like art. I was good at making the whale tail and I also was good at writing my description to explain what my tail represents. I need to improve on thinking of better ideas for my whale tail.

We learnt the diffrent skills for ki o Rahi.

First we revised stepping, you step by pretending to go one way but you go the other. we played a game of octopus to practise.

Next we learnt catching and catching, you pass by having your non dominant foot in front and you also have to be leaning forward.

After we had a group of three and a ball, we practised on how to throw and catch, then we had a race, the race was first team to get to ten would win. Then Ms White steped it up a notch and she made it twenty.

Lasty we had two circles that had someone in the middle and they had to pass it to someone and then they had to pass it back and first one to get to twenty won.

I enjoyed this beacuse I like the idea of ki o Rahi. I need to improve on catching and throwing. I was good at steping.

I learned about the legend of  Ki o Rahi and how to play ki o Rahi.

First I watched a vide0 about the legend of Ki o Rahi.

Next I learned about the areas of the Ki o Rahi field.

Lasty I played a game to practise running between the areas.

I enjoyed playing when we had to run between the areas. I was good at knowing the Ki o Rahi areas. I need to improve on running between the areas.

This week I did a SSR Selfie.

First I found a book I was intrested in then a readed it then I explained the story.

Next I then put what it focuses on and then I put what has happend in the story so far.

After I then put a picture to know what the book is called.

Lasty I then wrote three words that I didn’t know then looked inside the book to see what it meant and if the word meaning wasn’t in the book I searched the word up.

I enjoyed reading the book because it was intresting. I was good at reading. I need to improve on remembering what happend in the story.

This week we are learning about complex sentences.

First we guessed what a complex sentence is my idea was 2 compound sentences and 2 simple sentences.

Next Mr Wong put up a slide on the tv and we figured out what was a complex sentence.

After we made a copy of a slide we had to make a 2 comic picture and put a complex sentence explaining the photo.

Lasty we get feed back ealrly and finsh the complex sentences.

I enjoyed writing complex sentences.

I was good at thinking of ideas for the pictures.

I need to improve on taking the pictures.

This week we learnt about simple sentence. First we made a copy of a writing slide called simple sentences. Then we picked a picture

on the slide we made one sentence discribing the image but it had to include simple perfect, simple past, and simple present.

A simple sentence is a sentence which needs to include a verb or adverb.

I feel exited for the next time we do this.

I was good at figuring out wich is simple and perfect.

I need to inprove on making sentences.

This week we are bloging about summarising The Main idea. the main chareters are tobiah, niko, and achilles.

On the first page it was about the boys saying bye to there mum on the boat. They were on a trip with there grandma.

On the next page they were looking at signs to find out which was important and not important.

After that they went back on the shore to see if theres even more they were still looking for signs they put them in 2 groups important and not.

On the fourth and fith page they they went back to the top deck and they showed gran and she said ”i never noticed how many signs there were on the shore.”

I enjoyed finding good key words. I did well on looking for key words. I need to improve on making summarys
