Coding

We are learning how to code to get to different places.

Coding is when you program things to move or to do stuff.

First I had to go on to the coding angles challenge and use a website that has a turtle and you have to copy the codes on the coding angles challenge slide and then we had to get from the Auckland Sky Tower to diferernt places in Auckland or NZ.

Next I went from the sky tower to the beehive the code was fd 300 rt 52, then I had to screenshot it and then go back into the coding angles challenge slide and put the screenshot in and put the code in.

Lastly we had to do another one, I was going to the far north that is at the top of NZ. The code was  rt 90 fw 400 rt 48 then I did the same thing and I was finished.

I enjoyed this because it was hard guessing the code to get to different places. I need to improve on getting the right code to go to the beehive. I was good at getting the right number for fd.

Basketball Kelly Sport

In LS1 we practised basketball skills.

We practised dribbling the ball and passing.

First we practised how to pass by facing the other line and be partners to the person in front of you, I learnt that you have to pass from your chest with your hands in a w shape.

Next we had to learn dribbling. I learnt that I have to bend your legs and have a straight back, you also have to dribble the ball infront of your dominant legs. We had to have a partner that was the same gender and then dribble then pass it over to your partner and then you just had to keep on going.

I enjoyed playing basketball because I liked passing. I need to improve on dribbling the ball and passing further. I was good at passing.

Coordinates

I am learning how to use cordinates.

Cordinates is where you look at where you are and find it out by landmarks and other stuff that helps you find where you are.

First I went to look at Tokyo’s map and it asked question about where people where or where are you at when you are at 5B for example,

So the objective was to figure out where you are.

Next I went to the Aukland zoo map and it said “Where are you if your at 6B” And you had to look at where the number 6 and go down to see where B was.

Lastly I looked at Panmure and then looked then looked at the panmure medical centre and decided to ask a partner where is it.

I enjoyed this task because it was fun finding coordinates. I need to work on going in diffrent places. I am good at finding the location.
