PB4L

Today, we discussed what it means to follow the LS1 Way. We went over our two class rules—showing respect to everyone and following instructions quickly—and identified specific actions that help us keep our classroom focused and positive. After writing about what the LS1 Way looks like, we created posters to remind us of these expectations. Our posters will help everyone remember to stay on task, keep a good attitude, and follow the LS1 Way every day, even when Miss Tele’a isn’t with us.

 

Following the LS1 Way helps create a respectful and organised learning environment, so we can succeed and support each other in the classroom.

 

Respect

This week for PB4L I made a short slideshow about showing respect.

First I played a game that was about spelling the word respect, the first time it went “R,E,S,P,E,C,T” then the second it went “R,R,E,E,S,S,P,P,E,E,C,C,T,T” and on and on.

Next I thought about what I would add into my slideshow, I was thinking of a art collection but many already had done it. I just did a situation.

Lastly I bloged the task.

Whakatauki

This week for PB4L I wrote a whakatauki and made it a poster.

First I looked at multible whakataukis and picked one. ”Kāore te kumara e kōrero mō tōna ake reka” it read.

Next I went on canva and copied and pasted the quote (whakatauki). I changed the background and added effects to the text. That including the english translation.

Lastly I bloged.

About Me Collage

This week for PB4L I made a collage of stuff I like.

First I made a DLO of myself and put in images that I were going to trace. If you look back through my tasks and blogs you can find a similar task I did previously.

Next I started tracing the images, it got harder and harder to trace because the details.

I added my favourite artist and sport then bloged.

Poetry

This week for poetry I made slides on a song called “Why Kiki?”

First I listened to the song and unravaeld the ryhme scheme.

Next I made the album cover using a photo of me, a pale, and the title.

Next I bloged.

Be Inclusive

This week for PB4L we have been learning what inclusive is. Inclusive is to be open to those that arent popular. What I mean by “being open to those” is by being positive and being friends with them.

First I made a copy of the Be Inclusive template. This template is very identical to a comic strip. I also learnt that we could only use real life photos and traces. Tracing is just a copy of a image.

Next I chose what I was going to pick, I picked real life photos. I needed to add six ways to be inclusive.

Lastly I bloged my task.

I enjoyed this task because it could be helpful to those that arent inclusive and are rather exclusive.

I need to improve on writing the blog faster.

I was great at making actions for the photos, I even made two individual photos that connected.

Showing Respect

This week for PB4L LS1 has been making DLO’s to show respect to those that take care of us.

First I answerd questions on a jamboard.

Next I had to chose from a DLO, Animation, Slideshow, Movie, and more. I chose animation, spicificly a stop motion animation.

Lastly I bloged my task.

I enjoyed this task because it was short.

I need to improve on staying on task.

I was good at doing the task great.

Asking For Help

This week for PB4L we have been focusing on asking for help.

First I answerd the questions on the jamboard, they included questions like “Who should you ask if you need help?”

Next I made a copy of either landscape or portrait templates. Our task was to make a DLO showing what we did for PB4L, It must have included, A image, steps that are easy to understand.

Lastly I bloged my task.

I enjoyed this task because it was fun tracing the image.

I need to improve on finifhing this task faster.

I was good at puting information on the DLO quick.
