Peom

I wrote a perfect rhyme type of peom.

First I used another peom for the first paragraph as a example as to what perfect rhyme is.

Next I came up with another rhyme that has (OG) for the last sound like log and jog. the rhyme I wrote was “Have you ever seen a dancing dog falling into fog.”

Lastly I thought of more of rhymes and came up with “Why would someone jog when its raining cats and dogs.”`

I enjoyed this task because it was easy to write a poem. I was good at coming up with ryhmes. I need to improve on adding more rhymes.

Persuasive Speech

I learnt what the OREO structure is and persuasive speech.

The O stands for opinion, the R and E stands for reasons and explantions, respectivelywhereas, O stands for opinion again and that is what the OREO structure stands for.

Persuasive speech is when you use words that have words with emotion in them like anger or disgusting.

I enjoyed learning the OREO structure stands for.

 

Procedural Text

Procedural text tell people how to do something written in steps.

The structure of a procedural text is remembered by using T.E.M.P.

T stands for title,

E stands for end result,

M, stands for material,

P stands for pictures and steps.

Verbs are used in procedural text and so are adverbs.

The procedural text shown below is a example it is showing how to make a curry for a example and then a sport called seaweed and someone needs to find T.E.M.P’s through the two examples

Imagintive Recount

This week we learned what a imagintive recount is, it is a normal recount but something you imagined.

First we went made a copy of a story that Mr Wong made,

Mr wong started us of with a little bit of ideas to think of to help us like the family is escaping the zombies.;

Next we then made a story and highlited the parts in a diffrent couler every time for example the reval we make it blue and for the first event we make it green.

Lastly we then do a self reflection abot the main charecter James and his family is Paddy, Billy Bob, Lee, Sahil.

I enjoyed this because it was hard to do a reflection for James.

I was good at writing event 2.

I need to improve on writing event 3 longer to explain more.

Imagintive Recount

We learned what a imagintive recount is.

First we learnt what a imaginative recount is.

Next we brainstormed ideas. We had to brain strom The main charater, James, the supporting chararaters, Lee, Paddy, Billy Bob, Sahil, Kim. The main plot, A zombie world with hordes of zombies. The supporting event, running zombies over to get through hordes motorbikes to use with no petrol.

After we made ideas for when we do recount about the actual story.

Lasty we then did the reflection and what James felt what he was good at and what he needs to do better in the zombie world.

I enjoyed writing the ideas. I was good at thinking of ideas. I need to improve on making short ideas.

 

Compound Sentence’s

This week we learnt compound sentences.

First we identified what a compound sentence is, it is two simple sentences put together with a Fanboy.

Next we got into groups of four or three, one got a pen one got a scrap and one got a book.

After Mr Wong made a slide with six pitcures were we hade to make a compound sentence about the picture.
